Event Details: 

Date: Saturday, 30th of August

Time: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM 

Location: Wursthall - 310 Baldwin Ave, San Mateo, CA 94401

Tournament Format: 

 - Time Control: 5 minutes + 3 seconds increment (5+3) 

 - Rounds: 7 Rounds of Open Blitz + Knockout Stage for the Top 4 Players in Each Section (Single Elimination)  

 - Knockout Stage: Semi-finals and finals

🏆 Prizes – August Blitz ’25 

Winners of each Section: 

1) Trophy, Medal + $50 cash or 3-month Blitz Hustler Membership

2) Medal + 1 Free T shirt + %100 off entry fee (for Blitz Hustlers)

3) Medal + %100 off entry fee (for Blitz Hustlers)

Random Prizes: 

 - Chess com one month Diamond Memberships for 3 players

🎖️ Awards: 

•    Trophies for: Best Pro / Advanced / Intermediate / Beginner of August ’25 

•    Medals for: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place

 

Refund Policy: Refunds are available up to 24 hours before the tournament. 

Schedule: 

 - Check-in: 11:30 PM 

 - After Round 4: break 15 min

 - After Round 7: Top 4 players in each section advance to the Knockout Stage
