Life Under The Taliban: Is Britain Failing Afghanistan's Women and Girls?

Mon, 6 Oct 2025, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Exchange 2-3 Manchester Central Convention Complex, Inside Secure Zone

Hosted by the Coalition for Global Prosperity and Islamic Relief UK

Opportunities under the Taliban’s rule are becoming increasingly scarce for women and girls. Meanwhile, the tepid response to the human rights abuses of women and girls in the region and the shift in focus to European crises has left the women and girls of Afghanistan without consideration from the global community. This panel will explore how the UK can continue to champion the rights of women and girls in Afghanistan under Taliban rule.
