On Monday September 28, 2026 the Office of the Fire Marshal, in partnership with the London Fire Department, will be holding the media launch event for this year’s Test Your Smoke Alarm Day inside the Canada Life Centre at Fanshawe College.
While this marks the return of our yearly Saved by the Beep campaign, this year our targeted focus is on young adults and students living on their own for the first time.
Join us as we provide everyone in attendance with the tools they need to make fire-safe decisions...with a bit of fun, of course!
This year's event will feature speakers, prizes, VR demos, mascots, and several fire safety ambassadors to answer any questions you may have.
Remember - we can all be saved by the beep!
